Hubbard One secures marketing technology provider awardHubbard One has been honoured with the “Marketing Technology Provider” award at the 3rd Annual Legal Marketing Awards. The awards, staged by Legalease, the publisher of Legal Business magazine, recognise excellence in the provision and implementation of strategic marketing solutions for law firms, and are awarded to firms and their suppliers across a variety of categories in business development, public relations and marketing categories. Hubbard One, a leading provider of marketing and business development solutions for law firms, secured the technology provider award following a software implementation project which it undertook for international law firm Denton Wilde Sapte (DWS). DWS developed its Experience and Pitch Information Centre (EPIC) as a way of integrating the firm’s approach to business development and to significantly improve the effectiveness of the business development function. Based on Hubbard One’s Marketing Center software suite, EPIC helps DWS manage its experience and tender information, giving it the ability to automate the production of credentials, pitches and proposals. Mike Gannaway, business development director for DWS, says EPIC provides a way to improve speed to market, a key competitive pressure that all law firms experience. “Law firms need to access up-to-date, relevant and accurate information in order to go to market quickly with a customised, high quality proposal. “Prior to using EPIC we could create a first draft pitch document in around one day. But now, using EPIC, we can do the same thing in a matter of hours. It allows us to pick and choose the vital elements we need to build the base information contained in a pitch.” Gannaway says this reduces manual document assembly processes and allows more time to be spent on the high-value aspects of a proposal, such as collating market intelligence and customising the offering to match the unique demands of the client and the work. The judges explained that the award recognises Hubbard One for its specialisation in the provision of technology to legal marketing departments and that Hubbard One was able to prove the real business value of their offering by submitting client testimonials to support the strategic business value it had achieved for its clients. Hubbard One vice president and general manager Jason Parkman says the firm is delighted to have won the award, which recognises Hubbard One’s expertise and experience in implementing integrated legal marketing solutions for large law firms. Parkman says: “Hubbard One has gained considerable momentum in the UK market over the last two years. We are dedicated to providing software and consulting services to improve and streamline marketing and business development processes, and this award is testament to the benefits that can be gained from our solutions.”
